The Judge Lewis House Bed and Breakfast is located in an historic old home in Winterset Iowa. Our Bed and Breakfast was built in 1867 by Judge William Henry Lewis.. Judge Lewis was one of the founding fathers of our community and was the Supervisor for the building of our beautiful court house.This property was also home to his Nursery where he sold Pine and fruit trees. He called his property Fairmont! We encourage you to come visit and check out this beautiful old home and enjoy all of the charm of yesteryear!
We offer 2 Guest Rooms - both with private attached bathrooms - (our rooms are located on the second floor) evening refreshments and home cooked breakfasts. Fresh locally roasted coffee -
While you are here you can roam the park like grounds, relax with a morning cup of coffee under the oldest Ginko tree in Iowa or let your kids play in our adorable little play house or on the playground equipment.
