The event kicks off with registration at the Winterset Public Library where visitors can see the newly remodeled library and meet Spot the Dog (from Eric Hill's classic lift-the-flap picture books). Several stops along the way will feature reading stations\, informational booths\, and presentations\, including an exciting final stop at the Winterset Firehouse. The event is open to families with young children. Co-sponsored by Parents as Teachers\, C.R.I.S.P.\, 1st Five\, 4 R Kids\, and the Winterset Public Library.
