Indigo Dyeing

Sip and Dye. Indigo Dyeing for Adults with artist, Maggie Howe. Bring your own beverage and snacks for a night out full of fun! Explore the plant and science magic of dyeing with indigo. Indigo is a plant based dye that's used to create beautiful blue colors. A silk scarf will be provided for each student to dye and students may bring one or two additional natural fiber items to dye as well. We will fold, scrunch, or twist the item to make cool designs, then dye it with indigo. Nature's tie-dye. Recommended for adults of all ages. Pre-registration is required.
