ISU Insect Zoo

FOR: All ages REGISTRATION REQUIRED Explore the buildings of bugs with the Iowa State University Insect Zoo! This 90 minute program will feature the architecture of ants, termites, bees, wasps and spiders! Children will observe molds of two ant colonies, a bald-faced hornets' nest, a paper wasps' nest, a wild honey bee nest, and spider webs. There will also be a small display of live animals for children to see and ask questions about. The library will offer two sessions of the ISU Bug Zoo, registration will be required.
