Who’s going to get the farm? What are they going to do with it? Have you thought that far ahead? These thought-provoking questions are the source material for this play, written by Iowa Poet Laureate Mary Swander and commissioned by Practical Farmers of Iowa. Attendees may wish to register for the accompanying Farm Legacy Letter Workshop on Saturday, January 27. This event is funded in part by Bridges Financial Associates; Farm Bureau Financial Services – Scot and Kim Clark; Farmers and Merchants Bank; Edward Jones – Karin Holder, AAMS; Flander, Casper, and Rosien – Jane Rosien; For Lands Sake!; Jordan, Oliver, Walters, & Smith, P.C.; The Iowa Theater; Iowa State University Extension and Outreach; Madison County Historical Society; Madison County Soil & Water Conservations District; Madison County Women, Land, & Legacy; Midwest Heritage Bank; Nelson, Young, & Braland; Mary Terry, JD, CFP, APMA – Ascendant Wealth Management Group, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.; Union State Bank; and the Friends of the Winterset Public Library.
