Reading with Snoopy

Local dog lover and trainer Cari Davis will offer the opportunity to kids to read aloud to her dog, Snoopy. Children with reading difficulties or who would like more read-aloud practice read stories to a trained therapy dog…who loves to listen to stories! A child that may be hesitant to read aloud to others is typically less stressed when reading to a dog and the dog doesn’t judge a child’s reading ability. Appointments with Snoopy are 15 minutes in length. Call the library at 515-462-1731 to reserve a time slot.
