Take a Hike
Take a hike through Pammel Park where we will spend our evening relaxing in the great outdoors. The hike will include a short history program covering the development of Pammel Park and the involvement of the Civilian Conservation Corp in Madison County. As we stretch our legs along the backbone trail we will see unique features including the limestone backbone, Pleistocene snails, and Chinquapin Oaks. The hike will meet at the Backbone Shelter Parking inside Pammel Park at 7 pm on May 16. All ages welcome.
